SMS Terms
Last updated
SlotPaid sends appointment text messages on behalf of the businesses that use it to take bookings. These terms describe that messaging program.
What you'll receive
When you book an appointment with a business on SlotPaid and give your mobile number, you may receive texts about that appointment: booking confirmations, reminders before your appointment, changes or cancellations, waitlist openings, and follow-ups such as a request to review your visit. Messages are sent under the business's name. We don't send promotional texts.
Consent
You opt in by entering your mobile number when you book or join a waitlist, or by giving it to the business directly and asking them to add it. Giving your number is optional and isn't a condition of booking — you'll still get email confirmations without it.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your bookings, typically a few messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stopping messages and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that sender. You'll get one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in by replying START.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@slotpaid.com.
- Stopping texts doesn't cancel your appointment. Contact the business to change a booking.
Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are used only to send you these messages. We don't sell them or share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
For businesses
If you use SlotPaid to text your clients, section 7 of our Terms of Service explains your responsibilities, including only texting clients who've agreed to it.
